Dr Layan M. Mihyar is the founder and specialist orthodontist at Taqweem Orthodontic Clinic in Amman, a clinic devoted exclusively to straightening teeth and perfecting smiles. That focus is deliberate: every day is spent on braces, clear aligners, and the digital technology that makes modern orthodontic treatment faster, more precise, and far more comfortable than it used to be.

Her training spans some of the most respected institutions in the field, from a Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh to a Master’s in Clinical Orthodontics from the University of Manchester, along with Jordanian Board certification in Orthodontics.

Dr Mihyar is a certified Angel® Aligner Gold Provider, a recognition given to orthodontists with a proven track record in clear aligner treatment. She plans every case digitally, so patients can see the projected result of their treatment before it begins and understand exactly what to expect at each stage. To always bring the best solutions to her patients, she stays up to date with developments in orthodontic technology by regularly attending advanced conferences and workshops around the world.

Alongside her practice, Dr Mihyar teaches part-time at the University of Jordan and the Jordan University of Science and Technology, training the next generation of dental professionals, and is often invited to deliver educational seminars to fellow orthodontists from the region.
